What is Sculptra® Aesthetic?

With age, your skin's natural collagen supply decreases and you may start to notice wrinkles and facial aging.

Activate the skin’s natural regenerative process with Sculptra Aesthetic and help replenish lost collagen1-3, the most common protein in the body that supports cells and tissue. This FDA-approved injectable subtly and gradually over time helps restore facial volume.

Sculptra Aesthetic is an FDA-approved injectable that helps gradually replace lost collagen—the most common protein in the body that is used to form a framework to support cell and tissue—for results that can last more than two years, according to the clinical study.

As a poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) collagen stimulator, Sculptra Aesthetic helps restore the deep, underlying structure of the skin to diminish facial wrinkles.

Sculptra Aesthetic works with your body within the deep dermis to help revitalize collagen production and help restore your skin’s inner structure and volume.9-11

As the Sculptra Aesthetic PLLA micro particles are absorbed, they help stimulate collagen production.9-11

Rebuilt collagen strands begin gradually helping to restore facial volume and the look of fullness to wrinkles and folds.12

The most common side effects after initial treatment include injection site swelling, tenderness, redness, pain, bruising, bleeding, itching and lumps. Other side effects may include small lumps under the skin that are sometimes noticeable when pressing on the treated area. Larger lumps, some with delayed onset with or without inflammation or skin discoloration, have been reported.

How does Sculptra Aesthetic work?

Sculptra Aesthetic is made with biocompatible, biodegradable, synthetic material called poly-L-lactic acid, which is gradually and naturally absorbed by the body and helps to rebuild lost collagen through a series of treatments administered by our trained specialist, Dr. Brooke Rogers.

She injects treatment within the deep dermis, where strands of collagen support your skin's structure. Over time, Sculptra Aesthetic helps the body reproduce lost collagen.9-11 The number of injection appointments and the number of injections per appointment vary from person to person, depending on how much collagen has been lost. On average, three injection appointments are needed over a period of a few months.
